iOS push notification problem

schata

Question

Hi Guys!

I´m pretty new to the Fibaro system and have a problem with the iOS push notifiactions in scenes or alarm.

I tried the HCL for several weeks and is was horrible. The HCL froze periodically after restart and I wasnt able to connect to the web interface. The scenes als did not work anymore once frozen.

That was the reason why I switched to HC2.

Now the problem is that I do not get any notification via push. Only emails arrive (in case of an alarm or when set in scenes). There is a second device running Android. There is no problem. All push notifications are shown immediately.

For both devices the setting are the same except the account control. The iOS device is an admin device and the one running Andorid has restricted access and control options.

Somebody an idea why it worked with HCL and stopped working with HC2?

The firmware is the newest available.

Hope to get some help here.

BTW, I really did try to find an existing thread about this problem but wasnt able to.

Thanks

Alex

Have you try to delete the app, delete the iPhone from the web interface, reinstall the app, connect with the LAN-Settings and then connect with our remote-access? This should work

@schata I've the same problem, some little tests that I made with my iPhone, I don't have android, it's to disconnect the wireless on my iphone, If I'm not connected in the same wifi than the HC2 the notifications works, if I'm in the same wifi it doesn't work.

Try that and report

  • I deleted the app an reinstalled it. Then it worked for 5 minutes and then...again, no push notifications anymore. Two days later it started to work again without doing anything. Dont know what happend.

Before it did not make any difference how it was connected to HC2. Connecting from another wireless network or via cellular did both not work.
