I didn't experience this lag issue and I believe there is a setting somewhere in ImperiHome app to configure rate of refresh.

    Thanks chaicka,

I found a camera refresh rate but not a dashboard refresh rate

I think I'll be moving to openremote to see if that works better

The lack of custom feedback into the dashboard is a real disadvantage

It is under 'Settings | My Systems | <Your HC2> | Refresh Rate'. Mine is set to '30 seconds' and connection mode as 'Automatic'.

I am using 'ImperiHome' for iOS though.

Thanks -- just had a look and never knew that selection was available

default setting would seem to be 5 seconds on android

will set to 1 later and see if it solves my problem

    thanks a lot....

I have set to max allowed dropdown option of 30s cause the original default caused some abnormality (e.g. random delay in scene execution) on HC2 and scenes as if it is indirectly causing z-wave network traffic/command to pile up.

Just sharing. Not sure if this is of help.

    Thanks chaicka,

I tried that last night and it seemed to improve things...

where is the "max allowed dropdown" option - I had a quick look on my phone but couldn't see it

I seriously looking at openremote at this stage as I don't think that imperihome will give me what I want

I have the controller working on a raspberry pi and have just started working on some UI's

I have a Imperihome at a wall mounted tablet and is working fine. But remember, when configuring Imperihome, your HC2 is not a dedicated server for transmitting data on a large scale.

Some things you have to consider:

    - Configure IP-Cams directly from Imperihome (add one by one to your Imperhome configured system), don't use the HC2 cam option.

    - Don't use (multiple) graphs in your Imperihomes screens. This has a great impact on you're HC2 and Imperihome performance! If you want to see a graph just touch the corresponding button.

Please try the above suggestions. Please report back if it has improved (or not).

EDIT: If you're planning to use another HMI (Human Machine Interface), like OpenRemote, you will probably face the same problems when transmitting a lot of data to/from the HC2.

Well summarised Lambik. The essential factor to consider (regardless what interface it is - ImperiHome or OpenRemote or others) is about the amount of traffic it generates to and from the HC2. HC2 does not like heavy and high frequency traffic. HCL is even worse than HC2 (must be very very light and quick traffic to and from it).

The logic is simply because both types of Home Center device does not handle heavy z-wave traffic well. What may seem to be simple activities between HC2 and ImperiHome (or whatever interface) may actually generates a lot of z-wave traffic in the background, resulting in long queue of z-wave commands and if one of the activities get stuck, it quickly piles up and overload the z-wave network layer and cause all kinds of issue.

Just sharing, esp. for those who may not already have this knowledge. Pardon me if I am stating the obvious. I am no expert on z-wave yet, compare to many forumers here.

Hi! I'm using Imperihome too and I'm happy with it, but only when I'm at home, e.g. I'm on my network... I would like to know if one of you guys managed to make it work for external access... i forwarded the ports thanks to no-ip.org... port forwarding seems fine to me, since I can access my Fibaro on my Chrome browser... but I didnt manage to make it work on Imperihome... Any help would be much appreciated!!

    thanks

    Hi

Are you (or someone else) able to join remotely to Fibaro using the ImperiHome application?

    Hi

anyone knows how to use thermostats, danfoss valves and, in general, heating with Imperihome?

Those devices are not showed at all.

    I´m having problems with ImperiHome.

My fibaro wall plugs, Philio Tech Wall Plug, Qubino Flush Shutter and some more devices are not shown in ImperiHome. Tried a local account in HC2, tried deleting the app and installing it again (iOS) - then it found the Philio plug and Qubino shutter, but not everything else. After importing my backup the "new" devices are gone.

Am I really the only one with this kind of problem?
