for some reason since today morning the weather is not working for my city anymore

at exact same time on 3 HC2s and 1 HCL completely different values:

 

on HC2 with v4.056

all of them have exact the same settings, i did changed them of course to test different location, rebooted, refreshed, etc.

only two located in same network, the other two have different internet providers, routing, etc.

all using proper DNS (8.8.8.8), of course tested with other DNS as well

on all /api/devices/3 is showing the displayed data (so no cache, memory, etc. issue)

 

... and of course data of none of them is what yahoo weather is showing :\

well, there is no solution for now, Fibaro will have to update the code.

As the code is within encrypted php, from user perspective there is nothing one can do, except wait of course.

But i'm sure Fibaro will fix that asap.

I cant believe that system like Fibaro can not rely on weather informaton provider. Even more surprising is , that they wont fix it from day to day. Scenes that are depended on weather info are useless untill they fix it.

actually when you google a bit, you will find out that lot of websites (e.g. my golf club) rely on yahoo weather, and currently they do have exact the same problem - no weather information at all :\

hmm, in poland (and btw, in slovakia as well, so you should know it?!) they have public holidays since friday, and yahoo weather stopped to work on friday evening.

Response from Fibaro support: "Yes, unfortunately the API was changed via yahoo so the integration also has to be change. We analyzed it and we notified our developers about this issue. They should create a new integration script in order to restore this functionality. The solution should be available in one of the upcoming weeks. We apologize for inconvenience"

Lack of information is the biggest problem with fibaro. Firmware version 4.081 beta is out and there is no mention of solution for this problem with yahoo weather. Can anyone confirm that this problem is solved? It seems to me that for my area problem still exists.

I installed 4.081 Beta a few days ago and still have the weather problem. No changes so far.

of course not, the major part of beta 4.081 was compiled before the weather stopped to work.

Yahoo is still allowing, but slow updating data, access via direct query (without checking WOEID first), but this is not satisfying, so we have to wait for permanent solution from Fibaro.

Now imagine that you have scene that is using weather data. And fibaro is not able to update FW to fix this issue of functionality that is one of the basic for almost 2 weeks!!!!. Irrigation gone, heating based on outside temperature gone, roller shutter behavior based on weather gone...

Im quite a surprised that only a few of users comply here on the forum about this.
