Hey!

Anyone have experience with the Aeotec Smart Switch 6 and HC2? Does it work and does it have templates?

Thanks! I have added it and connected a dryer, but I am not getting a power reading like you have in the small image. It just says 0W. What have I done wrong do you think?

If the Aeon Smart Switch 6 has been successfully included, it should have 4 devices (1 hidden parent, 3 visible child) as shown in screenshot.

I have 3 of these and so far, only 1 exhibits similar behaviour like yours where the W is still 0.00W and A is 0.00A but V has values (240+V). This particular SS6 is connected to a recliner sofa. Not sure if the utilisation is too short or too low for it to meter power usage.

Now that there is someone else sharing, I am thinking perhaps this is the power utilisation pattern of a motor since dryer is also motorized?

I have not tweak the parameters to further troubleshoot this. May be something we can test out and share outcome?

Just a theory of what I suspect is happening.

The motorized usage is too short for the SS6 to report its W, V, A back to HC2.

Check out parameters 101, 102, 103 and 111, 112, 113. I think I am going to test it out tweaking these during the upcoming weekend.

That would have been useful info. Anyway, now it works.
