Question

Hello,

My HC2 is running on version 4.101

I installed 3 sonos devices over the weekend. 2 play5 and 1 play-bar.

All off them has a IP adres on the internal network.

When i create a virutual device i can command the sonos devices.

Mhen i install the sonos plugin he want discover the sonos devices. When i put in the IP adress in the plugin same problem.

Any ideas what could be the problem with the plugin?

Since you have HC2 maybe is better to use Sonos remote virtual device. It has more possibilities than plugin and supports TTS (text to speech) so you can make your house or apartment speak to you. Check it here:

To download VD you will need first to make account there and leave post here:

My Sonos arrives tomorrow.. I have installed the VD and registered for the API Key and stuff.. quick question (might be obvious when I get the Sonos kit) do I need a VD for each Sonos device, or does it work that stuff out? or.. is there some instruction on this forum about sonos zones and stuff I should read?

@shaunfrost,

you will need one VD for each Sonos speaker. VD for now can't group zones so for that I use Sonos app. The rest is just working excellent.
