Dear Sir, Madam

I have Fibaro HC2 serial number HC2-016930.
I tried add Fibaro sensor(it's works perfectly on my friend's HC2), but I can not pared it, I bought it as second hand and I reset to factory default. This is AU version, can you recommend what to do.

Hi @Vladyslav,

did you you follow the below procedure when resetting the sensor?

  1. Make sure the Sensor is powered
  2. Press and hold the B-button
  3. Wait for 4-6 seconds for the visual LED indicator to glow yellow (2nd position of the MENU)
  4. Release the B-button
  5. Click the B-button, once
  6. Successful reset will be confirmed with the visual indicator changing colour to red and fading

If so and you are still unable to pair it, try removing it from your HC2 and then re-add it again. Chances are it is partly installed but was interrupted during the process.

I hope this helps.

It's hard to say. A few questions:

    1. is the second hand sensor an Australian one?
    2. what version os are you running on your HC2?
    3. have you power cycled the HC2?
    4. are you adding the device close to the HC2?
    5. what inclusion mode are you trying?

By power cycle I mean turn the power off to the

HC2 wait 10 seconds and turn it back on again.

im not sure about how to check the frequency, I would assume if your friend was using it that they were in Australia to??

im not sure what you mean by "change USB pen"??

    Yes I did power cycle

I used sensor with 921.4, but I'm not sure about HC2, can be different?

I mean fibaro usb stick can be replaced or from other HC2, or they all the same?

The USB stick in the HC2 is for your backups. It should not be removed and cannot be used in any other HC2.

that being said the USB has nothing to do with adding devices. When you place the HC2 in to learning mode what settings are you applying?

are you using the below screen??

    @Vladyslav,

You should log a support request with Fibaro Tech Support and have them trouble shoot the issue with you.

I can not read that you really tried to exclude the device first and then re-include it again.
If it belongs to another network (used device), you must first remove the network information by excluding the device or by resetting the device.
Read the device manual how to reset the device, (not your HC2).

    @RH_Dreambox

I already tried everything: reset HC2, Reset FGMS-001, reset other devices. But the result  is always the same -  nothing. So can you help to test my HC2 or it's only fibaro support can do?

What do you get for notification when you try to include the sensor?
Is the sensor rated AU 921.4 mHz
Does the battery work in the sensor?

    Edit

Do you have any other devices that work?

First try to exclude/delete the device. Its on the same page as when you add device, just look at the bottom.
