Fibaro Dimmer 2 & Universal Dimmer wiring

Scott

Question

Hi Gurus!

I've got a Clipsal universal dimmer & my sparky mate is struggling to wire that in with the Fibaro dimmer 2 (FD2).
He's got the FD2 working ok without the Clipsal universal dimmer but can't get both.
Can anyone give me a wiring diagram? Ideally without a neutral.

I would think you would need to remove the clipsal dimmer as you are basically running a dimmer into a dimmer

I have the same Clipsal Saturn mechs in my place and I replaced the bi stable mech with bell press so you just press and hold to dim

You can only use one or the other. The two dimmers won't work together in the same circuit. All the fibaro dimmer needs is a single momentary (bell press) switch. It can be wired with two switches to give different controls for increasing and decreasing brightness but one switch is the most common way. Double press to turn on to full brightness, press and hold to alternatively increase/ decrease brightness depending on last action.
