I've been running 4.130 with the virtual clock sync script to solve to time drift issue. Since later version caused the virtual clock sync to stop functioning i was wondering if it's really true.

Have they finally solved the time drift in the latest 4.5 release?

I can confirm that my HC2 running 4.520 after running for 45 days is in just few seconds apart from my computer. I consider this time drifting as solved. Also changing location settings does not require rebooting anymore.

I agree that on 4.520 it was very stable, but on 4.530 I have time drift of one minute and few seconds after 17 days.

Anyone else has same issue?

Hi @cag014 ,

that is an interesting information. At the moment only my developing HC2 is upgraded to 4.530 and is up just for few days. Will soon upgrade my home controlling HC2 and monitor.

To keep correct time on my system I'm using now.httpbin.org site, but for last two days this site is not available anymore.

I've found another free site (no API key required) that provides jSon table with timestamp according to your timezone and DST.

I'm also eager to hear if the time drift has stopped in the later versions.

Still running 4.130 with virtual clock as it's been sorting the time drift issue for years now.
