Scenes not working for Zwave locks

Andres Cadena

Question

Good day,

i have linked my two zwave locks to my HC2, they work fine from the app, i can control them with not issues. However, when i try to set and scene, to make sure they are closed when needed, the scene does not complete the saving step.

I can add them and set the parameter to "Close", just not saving the Scene to have it running later. I have tried to remove only the locks from the scene and it saves the other steps, i also tried putting the scene only for one lock but still not saving.

Lock types:

- Yale Deadbolt YRD220-ZW-619

- Kwikset 910 zwave

HC2 v.4.150

regards,

Andres

I agree its very poor support in the block scenes...I have had some success but it MUST be the last command in the block scene.

They should work in Lua scenes. Block scenes are not supported for locks, checked on danalock v3.

Sorry to ask a really basic question did you just drop this code into a scene to run ...or a VD?
