Incompatibel MS 6 with Fibaro HC2?

khvaal

Question

Hi, I have recently installed a Fibaro HC2. The fibaro motions sensor works uncomplicated with the HC2, but the Aeotec Multisensor 6 shows up on the HC2 as UV, Temp, light and humidity, but not motion or vibration.

The UV sensor widget (w UV icon)  appearing in fibaro act as a motion sensor, as it ca be trigged by motion in front of the sensor, and then it shows a 255 value on the UV meter. in a scene,  a dimmer can be set to be activated by this .

This is however not it should be. I am missing the real motion sensor devise to appear in fibaro.

Multiple delete/add procedures have not changed it. I have 2 Aeotec Multisensors 6 that behave in the same manner.

The HC2 has 4.056 firmware,  two attempts to upgrade to 4.180 have made it freeze and had to be abandoned.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

  • After having read another post by RuneW,  who had found that the solution was to clear cache in browser, tne systems installed  the newest firmware, and the Aeotec sensor worked.

This experience may apply to more people and could be made available to more users. Thank you, RuneW.
