Fibaro Smart Implant (FGBS-222)

At last the Fibaro smart implant is realesed in Sweden, I had a need of controlling a battery powered LED candle so I integrated it in this using the implant powered by a 9v battery and used one of the two outputs to act as a replacement for the switch on the candle, It worked great!...for about 48 hours then the 9v battery was on 3,5v. The problem i think is that smart implant act as a repeater in the z-wave network and it is not open to deactivate the repeating function or am i wrong?

Jepp to a 9v battery

@Teddan that's the reason, implants drains you're battery, just like an ubs.

use a 9 volt powersuply

@Akatar, you missing the point here. The test was to run it on battery to see how long it last becuase i cant find a current consumption on the smart implant.

Have you been able to run this implant using a battery?

The implant will run on battery.
The downside is that you have to buy a carton of batteries.
It has no sleep mode and will discharge quickly.

Is there any Fibaro module that is battery operated and has digital inputs? Like the FGK-10x had before the new version was released.

There is no other fibaro device. Check this. Site is in dutch but the video has english subtitles.
