Walli 2 and 3-way switching

Hi All,

 

I'm in the process of wiring an extension for a spare bedroom and have a situation where I have 3 way light switching. I'm wiring with the Walli switches in mind, but trying to understand if, in a 3-way switching setup, I can install 3 Walli switches in the 3-way switching setup, or if only 1 is permissable / possible, and the other 2 switches must be "non-intelligent" / normal switches. I'm fully aware of how to wire a normal 3-way switch setup using standard household switches, but am a bit lost if I want all the switches to be Walli ones

 

The wiring diagram in the Walli Switch manual for 3-way switching shows the following:

Although the diagram is clear, it doesn't really show if switches 2 and 3 can also be Walli switches or not.

 

Anyone had any experience with this?

look on the diagram once again, you will find connectors coming out from Walli to these two (or more) switches. As they have input connectors, and Walli does not have any inputs connectors, they must be normal switches (and yes, they are)

I obviously saw the connections from the Walli switch to the 2 others, that wasn't really my issue ?

 

So, without me diving too deep into the technicalities of my issue, I guess my next question is: if there can be only one single Walli switch in either a 2-way or 3-way configuration, what happens when you switch the light on with the Walli switch (either mechanically or programatically) and then off again with either of the other 2 mechanical / normal off-the shelf switches? Does the Walli switch recognise that the light has been turned off by a switch other than itself and sets its status to "off"?

why think when you can only power the other switches and use association for the other two and scene for other triggering , for two click ”s or...?

i have set up the association and also grouping. my question is, why does the 2nd Walli act like this:

I press the first channel and everything works fine and communicates with the other Walli

BUT if I press the other channel of the 2nd Walli which should turn on other light, also turns (after this association setup) ON and OFF the other channels light? It happens ONLY if i press it from the WALLI. if i press it from the app, it doesnt do that?!

also putted the VIDEO - green is ON, blue is OFF
