Thermostat & Heating Zone plugin

Hi,

 

Could anyone make the Thermostat & Heating Zone plugin work in HC3? This one:

I can install it, but cannot set it up under the Advanced tab:

 

 

This plugin works correctly under HC2, and allows to override the climate schedule to manual mode with a wall thermostat. I have a Heatit Z-Temp2.

I got same problem here I can't set anything up.
Worked fine in hc2

working on replacement for that, so far the functionality is working for heating and cooling thermostates (not sure if i manage to add support for auto mode).

Currently fighting with (normally not supported by QA) listboxes in BUI, to make the user experience same as with original plugin

 

 

Spend hours on that already, if i didn't manage that, i will post the QA without, so you will have to enter manually heating zone number and thermostate id.

Was working on a workaround as well. This seems to work as expected, with a not so elegant solution, which I explain in a comment at the end. It's a scene, not a QA, so it's more manual to set it up, and has to be done for each heating zone.

(ID 79 is a Heatit Z-temp2 thermostat.)

I want to test your LUA scene, but I have a question about the IDs. I need to change ID 79 to my Z-Temp. But what to do with ID = 1? 

Furthermore, are there any other changes I need to do?

Hi,

 

Only change ID 79 to your Z-Temp's Thermostat ID.

ID 1 is the home center itself, ot triggers the scene when the "climate" mode is set back to "schedule" from "manual". Don't change that.

 

Other than that, the thermostat should be assigned to the heating zone. The scene should be set to Auto start.

@pnutp0wer I was wrong!!! ID 1 is the Climate Zone ID, not the Home Center itself. Sorry about that! (I just have 1 zone on my test system...)

 

So please set that to your zone's ID

Fibaro Support confirmed the issue, and that they are working on fixing the plugin. There is no estimated time yet.
