QuickApp - Enphase Envoy monitoring

ENPHASE ENVOY MONITOR

 

• This Quickapp retrieves; wattsNow, wattHoursToday, wattHoursSevenDays and wattHoursLifetime from the local Enphase Evoy (S ore Metered)
• In the QuickApp labels wattHoursToday, wattHoursSevenDays and wattHoursLifetimes is shown 
• The wattsNow is shown in the top (under the sunpanel icon)
• data refresh standard every 10 seconds, but Enphase Evoy update every 15 minutes (at this moment, but can change after software changes by Enphase)

 

• Tested with:
• Envoy-S-Metered-EU
•  Softwareversion: 5.0.54
• HC3 | 5.100.22

• New download file, QA as Energie meter
   

Version 0.3 (26th January 2021)

• bug: for HC3 5.051 users are not both values vissable. This QA copies to Multilevel QA
• Change in Variable possible:
• ShowData: 1 --> Top: wattHoursToday | bottem: wattHoursSevenDays (default)
• ShowData: 2 --> Top: wattsNow | bottem: wattHoursSevenDays
   

Version 0.2 (22th January 2021)

• Initial version

Variables (mandatory and automaticaly generated): 

 

• IPaddress = IP address of your local Enphase Envoy
• Path = Path, normally "api/v1/production" (don't changes unless you know what you are doing)
• Interval = Number in seconds, the Enphase Monitor normally is updated every 10 seconds
• debugLevel = Number (1=some, 2=few, 3=all, 4=simulation mode) (default = 1)
• Example content Json table
• { "wattHoursToday": 5480, "wattHoursSevenDays": 21271, "wattHoursLifetime": 4122447, "wattsNow": 0 }

 

How to install: 

• Open the Configuration Interface
• Go to Settings > Devices
• Click  +
• Choose Other Device
• Choose Upload File
• Choose file from your computer with .fqa

 

Vissable:

• On top, "wattHoursToday" (this value reset every day to zero at 00:00 hours)
• bottom (log) the 7-day "wattHoursSevenDays"

Hi @twanve

 

The QA works great! Thanks a lot. 

I think there is a difference in what you show here on the icon and what you see on my icon. I see only the 7day kWh and the flash on the icon. I don;t see the actual sun power.

I changed the code slightly and now i see the actual power below the flash.

In my QA, I show 2 difference value's;

• On top, the "wattHoursToday" (this value reset every day to zero at 00:00 hours)
• bottom (log) the 7-day "wattHoursSevenDays"

 

It's at you own what you want to show, to show the "wattsNow" is for me not relevant. This value is 15 minutes old.

The sun power, I get from another QA (in beta), what connected with Iungo, this shows always the realtime "wattsNow"

I understand but if i install your QA i don't get your icon with the 2 rows. Why is that? I expected the same look and feel (different numbers of course)

just curious, what do you do with the envoy information?

I want to use the wattsnow info to remind me to start washing machines etc when i'm at home and i'm overproducing.

Very strange, I upload today a new fqa file to this post, with hopeful my personal icon. I don't know when I download my QA from my HC3, my personal icons in de fqa file?
Please, remove the QA en download the new file from here en upload. Look what's happend.

I don't use the WattsNow, the data is 15 minutes old. For me it's nice to see in one QA how much the sun deliver today and last 7 days. 

 

ps; my HC3 hase version 5.061.36 (beta) perhaps that's make the different.

the icon itself is a separate file, it doesn’t go with the fqa. You can post your icon in your first post (if it is royalty free), then other users can download and use it.

I think with more sun it wil change  

 

But the first digit is always bigger in comparison with the digits after the dot

Do you perhaps know why I cannot setup these icons as favorites and therefore have them in the main screen of the app? I have an iPad on the wall which displays the first screen of the app. Unfortunately quickapps i cannot select as favorite and therefore i have to scroll though some screens in order to see these figures which are actually the ones you want to see directly.

I don't know what you mean with "icons as favorites". send a screenshot what you mean.

Also don't have it tested on my Apple iPad, there is not an official iPad App for the HC3 (not yet).

On an Apple iPhone, you must open de QuickApp before you can see the value, but no icon. Only when the QuickApp have Child devices, shows icons on the main screen.

Okay, well late answer but true i was like a beta tester when launched. Now there is an official app. But maybe if I read correctly it would be nice to have a child device with an icon which displays the values. That would be nice for an dashboard overview. Is that hard to make?

WOW this plugin came on time.

When the system generate more than 5KW, then the car charger will start charging the EV car.

Thanks for the QA. It works, but I was wondering whether it could register the energy produced in the energy app? Now it "just" shows the power at that moment in a tile.
