Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 - Without function - Pulses only blue

Hi. Maybe someone can help me.

 

I have 20 x "Fibaro Roller Shutter 3" in use for about six months. At first, that works perfectly. Since few weeks more and more get out.
7 devices no longer work. Not by switch (toggle switch) and not with my controller (Homey).

 

- i tried to ex-/include (unsuccessfully)
- pressed the B button for a longer time (no reaction)
- Power off/on (as before nothing except the blue light).
- placed the controller directly in front of the switch

But: the roller shutter lights up incessantly slowly blue (not violet) for 5 seconds and then are dark again for 5 seconds.
No matter what i press or do, they are not impressed by any input. Attached is a video of this.

Does anyone have any idea what this is and how to fix it?

If you see blue flashing on FGR-223, then it is dead. You need to RMA it to seller or installer.

 

Few of them arrived to us like that from installers and retail shops and we were not able to get the device working. Blue flashing right after turning it on. Could not even get to color menu.

@m.roszak any chance you could help the people out here? What does a slow blinking blue light on RS3 mean?

RMA procedure, there is nothing else to do here. 
In general it means that its dead ;)

PS
We are looking into it it happens mostly with Homey systems and we don't know for now the cause.

Hi, any update on this? I also have a Homey and this happened to me 3 times now...

First the RS3 stops responding on Zwave and some hours/days later it stops reponding to the physical buttons. (not sure if that was ater a power reset)

Also opened a ticket at Homey a while ago, however they reponded its not Homey related.

Hi Guys!

I've the same issue: the device started to pulse with the blue light, cannot reach it over Z-wave. It has no buttons connected, so I cannot test that part. The controller is a Homey Pro (early 2023)

I bought the Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 1 year ago and worked fine so far.
Will the RMA work if I bought the device as a used device?
If there any time limit for the RMA?
