Question

Posted

Hi everyone,

I've been developing a QA and while doing so I have added more buttons than I needed.

Labels are easy enough to remove as there is a trash can to delete them but for some reason I cannot remove a row of buttons that has no code linked to them.

Does anyone know how to get rid of these excess buttons?

Thanks,

Anthony

If you select the button row, you also get a trash/delete icon in the right lower corner of the control panel.

Thanks for that. For some reason the editor had cut off the RHS of the window. I had to restore the window and adjust the width to see it!

Do you have a horizontal scroll bar as I don't seem to have one.

The horizontal scroll bar depends on the source code of the quickapp. If you have more than one screen, you get the scroll bar, otherwise not.

    Eddy,

So I copied my quickapp (which is for control of an AC) to a new device with the type temperatureSensor so I could get the charts to work. Only issue is that the system now seems to have added a label with the temperature value at the top. I downloaded the fqa to look through and I cannot see any label defined that I could delete. Have you seen this before?

    Thanks.

You can only delete the labels and buttons you add manually. You can't delete the buttons that "belong" to the quickapp device type, like for example the ON OFF buttons for a binary switch.

If you don't want any buttons, you can use a multilevel switch of a multilevel sensor if you want a value in the icon.

    Thanks - appreciate it.
