  1. in some respects your right. Over 10 years I have 2 systems.... HomeSeer and Fibaro....both of them need "feeding". HomeKit does not....and that attracts me. Its 3rd generation for me....I been there got the T-Shirt...don't want it anymore.
  2. Yes I am afraid I am in the same place. I have been actively moving to HomeKit now over the past few months...about 50% of the way through. And whilst its also got its problems, hidden rules etc its been much more stable. Now that's not to say I am not buying Fibaro....I am...HomeKit devices....I am now just going to be a different type of customer.
  3. Personally I am looking for Wifi (where I can) as the response times are still better. However, of course the bluetooth still has to be battery powered kit.
  4. I have found that the hardware is without question some of the best around. The HC2 software still leaves a lot to be desired.
  5. So I am really confused by this thread and what works for latest build. I have the following: GET /api/service/reboot HTTP/1.1 Host: 192.168.1.110 Origin: http://192.168.1.110 Content-Length: 0 Authorization: Basic XXXXXXXXXXXX Referer: http://192.168.1.110/fibaro/en/configuration/ X-Fibaro-Version: 2 X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest 0x0D0x0A0x0D0x0A Now I generated the password as : [email protected]:password In the virtual device I put 192.168.1.110 and port 80...nothing seems to be happening....what am I doing wrong here?
  6. I think that would be a hope too far. IOS 11.3 has convinced me after 15 years of X10 and ZWave Smart Homes (HomeSeer and Fibaro) its time to leave and migrate to HomeKit...so its my 3rd tech generation coming up.
  7. Nope....I have a couple of these now. So the best route I can offer that really works well is to use the HomeBridge Solution and then link over to virtual/global variables for the different status.
  8. So I have nearly 200 devices in Fibaro HC2...so what I do is create a new user account and down selection to devices I need in that HomeKit space. I tend to use a couple of apps. 1) HomeKit as that seems to have access to all the location logic and simple scenarios 2) Eve App for more complex logic...but you have to careful with that as you can create logic which will only run on the phone (not remotely on Apple TV if you are away). 3) fibaro app for everything else.
  9. I do use the bridge...but once I get past 60 devices it goes a little crazy...be careful.
  10. Sorry to ask a really basic question did you just drop this code into a scene to run ...or a VD?
  11. I have the same problem...I just ignore it...
  12. Question apart from the obvious Lock or Unlock...did you get the conditional .... if lock = secure then do ??? working at all?
