  1. Hi For a while I have been using the excellent QuickApp here to control my Daikin split system ACs. However, a recent firmware update (which I thoughtlessly installed without first checking 😢) completely changes the API and breaks this QuickApp. The Home Assistant community have a github thread which explains the issue and makes some progress to reverse-engineer the new API. https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/99251 That thread links to a teardown blog post of the new API: https://ydn.jp/archives/12367 (but it's in Japanese) Is anyone else in a similar position? Does anyone have plans to update this QA to the new API (or develop anything new against the new API)? (Also, for anyone running the older firmware - don't update! Although you won't be able to use the native app to control those units until you do).
  2. I need to control a Daikin VRV multi-split HVAC system which has their intelligent touch controller with the HTTP interface option installed. To control each individual indoor unit I need to send an HTTP POST. Below is an example of the information the controller is expecting the HTTP POST to contain... 4. hey, Does fibaro have a plugin of the cool master. at www.coolautomation.com they have mentioned that it works with fibaro. Basically i want a two communication with the AC. Using an IR blaster for now, it just allows me to give commands, but i cant figure out unless i am at the site if the command worked. Its an VRV AC of Diakin. Cool master works with other wired automation (KNX) platforms. Can any one please provide me with a solution?? or a driver for the cool master?? thanks

  6. Hoping someone can please help me. i have a 4 zone ducted aircon from Daikin. i have created a virtual device and can successfully control: On/off cool/heat temperature - 18,20,21,22 fan low fan high fan low auto fan high auto zone 1 on/off zone 2 on/off zone 3 on/off zone 4 on/off in all 4 zones (bedrooms) i have temperature via either Fibaro motion or temp in window sensor. what I need help with is calibrating and controlling the temperature for each zone to achieve the temperature setting. so if it got summer day and I want all rooms to be at 22, turn off the zone once reached but keep on in rooms not at that temperature yet. would appreciate some help with LUA script to achieve this. thanks Rich
