That's one of the items that have been hinted by Fibaro yes, but I saw tv remote too. Right now it's still vague what this multimedia support will comprize.

I would be interested in testing OS 4.x as well, of course, anyone on the forums would be. However, I wouldn't want to install it too soon. Running an unstable beta on your primary home controller which is used every day and integrated into your life, is asking for problems and unhappy people in the house

Excuse me but we do not release information about our timelines.

Nobody has info, there are some rumors, but I don't think anyone has seen some actual screen shots or change log.

However, my logic is that 4.x takes into account that HCL doesn't allow the user to change the LUA-code and is aimed at novice users. Therefor I would expect that 4.x provides much more ready-made templates for the user to work with. If they would have had it almost ready, I would have expected them to put some extra developers on the new firmware and wait a couple of more weeks in order to launch HCL with 4.x.

But that's just speculation, your guess is as good as mine.
