Question

Hi there

Altough some people are getting the zwave.me keyfob to work, I tried several methods, but it does not seem to activate my scenes.

I have the ZME_KFOB2 (Version 1.4*)

*With 1.3 you can add the device holding the four buttons for 5 sec. and push then button 3

*With 1.4 you can add the device holding the four buttons for 5 sec. and push then button 1

I just want to start a scene when I leave the house en start another scene when I come home.

I included the device and also woke up the device.

I also was able to configure the parameters so that I can start a scene with button 1,2,3,4

However when configured the following scene, nothing works.

Controller = Fibaro HC2

214 = device ID Keyfob

159 = light scene on

160 = light scene off

Scene 1

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--[[
%% properties
214 sceneActivation
%% globals
--]]

if  ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(214, "sceneActivation")) == 11)
then
     fibaro:startScene(1);
end
if  ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(214, "sceneActivation")) == 12)
then
      fibaro:startScene(160);
end
if  ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(214, "sceneActivation")) == 13)
then
      fibaro:startScene(159);
end
if  ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(214, "sceneActivation")) == 14)
then
      fibaro:startScene(160);
end

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also tried the following scene

Scene 2

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--[[
%% properties
214 sceneActivation
%% globals
--]]

-- This part makes sure that the script only runs once
if (fibaro:countScenes()>1) then
   fibaro:debug('Kill the second scene!');
   fibaro:abort();
end

RemoteID = 214; -- Change this number into your remote ID number

if ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(RemoteID, "sceneActivation")) == 11) -- button 1, single press
then
   fibaro:startScene(159); -- Fill in the number of the scene you want to activate
end

if ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(RemoteID, "sceneActivation")) == 12) -- button 2, single press
then
   fibaro:startScene(160); -- Fill in the number of the scene you want to activate
end

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I confirm what Roy wrote in previous post. No way to trigger scenes with the zwave.me keyfob despite it get included correctly in the zwave network.

Any chance to support it?

Otherwise, I'm thinking to send it back and try the AEO_ZW088 remote.

Thanks

Simone

i also have had the exact same issue. i ended up using the aeon labs key fob remote gen5 instead which works as intended and can activate 8 scenes

    I don't think I will ever get it to work with my keyfob and other users also told me that the aeon labs key fob gen5 works great:
