i bought today 2 Audiocast M5 and they are perfect. Thank you for that. I bought 2 Rivercast Audio they are the same like from IEast und in Amazon Market

10€ cheeper  Works perfectly with the HC2.

 

I was searching for a good multiroom system and now there it is.

 

But i don´t understand the Sync Botton. Nothing happens but when i start the devices by pressing the VD button (ON/OFF) then it is suynced.

Hey guy, I have two questions here:

1 - I want to set the audio in the apartament so when I walk into kitchen, it will start playing radio, if I walk into the bathroom, it will start playing same radio synchrinised. ... I can not figure this out. There is always that time for synchronising. I even tried to control it by changing the volume, so in the room where there is no need to play the volume would be at minimum. But it does not work for the synchronised device, as obviously that device is not active on the Wifi. 

Is there any solution? Maybe a solution where I get rid of that - playback in sync phrase? I think I can work with 5 second delay here, but it is just annoying to have he phrase always there.

 

2 - can you guys help me with setting the playlists? I can not figure that out. Ok my setting - in the living room I have Android box as my "multimedia center". I use it mostly for KODI and netflix, but I have hard drive connected to it and so I woul like to share the music from it to ieast.

Now, there is few apps in android market for creating server on android. But I can not figure out how to create playlist which can be played by fibaro plugin.

Can you advice me what kind of server to use, if it is http or what server. Then, what playlists can be played by fibaro plugin and how can i create them? 

Or is this connected somehow to AudioCast apps? Or perhaps is m30 needed in order to play a playlist as a main device? Can this work with only m5s?

I know this is big question, but I am sure many people will benefit from answer. So again - what server it needs to be, what format of playlist and how to create them and if this can be doen only with m5s. Thanks a lot.

They are making a unit with built in amp now, so just need to link up speakers in wall/ceiling, great solution for multiroom audio.

You just need to ask every slave device to connect to one master.

For example you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 devices.

And 1 is main.

 

You need to write code based on sync button which allows to do 4 actions:
2 -> 1 (second should be connected to first one)

3 -> 1 (third should be connected to first one).

4 -> 1

5 -> 1

In the master i put the mac of the slave devices and in the slave the mac must be out?

 

can i write this in the master sync button ? local mac   = "00:22:6c:4c:46:b4";00:22:6c:50:b7";

 

my problem is, that they only sync, when i press the Power Button in VD. When i press sync nothing happens??

Hi all,

 

Would it be possible to make a VD with buttons of which each plays a specific file on a USB stick once?

ie a button that plays a file on an inserted stick named /music/files/hithere/thisisafile.mp3 ?

 

And if so.. Could anyone show an example what such a piece of code would look like?
