Voice# buttons don't work for me.. URL's inside the buttons work fine in browsers. 

Any suggestions?

Ive just one of the Ieast amplified units up in my kitchen and it works really well. I've got the virtual device set up too. Thanks to Roman for this work.
Just a question, does the on/off button work on the main page of the fibaro app, it just seems to start playing but won't stop the player. 
Is that the same for everyone?

I do not know which button is actually the main for you (so is displayed as ON/OFF).

VD has PLAY and STOP buttons. They call setPlayerCmd:play  and setPlayerCmd:stop

You can also check such commands for buttons:

setPlayerCmd:pause

setPlayerCmd:resume

setPlayerCmd:onepause

The last one is interesting,  it pause playback when plays, and resume when playback is paused. So this is good option for main button at VD.

Try this API command: getFileInfo:index:range

range is number of files you want to retrieve. You get back table of files at USB source, you can check what tis the index (number) of the file you are looking for. When you have index, you can start playback using command setPlayerCmd:playLocalList:index  - sample calls you have in VD.

You question is not so clear. Please try to expand it. Do you really mean "prayer", or it shall be "player"

Do you ask about setting timezone, or for infitinte, loop playback 24h/7days?

Im talking about prayer time for muslim, Because all muslim use to pray 5 times a day. I want to make an alarm to my ieast 5 times a day..there is a lot of apps in play store but i dont know to put in ieast..

So you can use iEAST Play app - the main app dedicated for iEast devices, and you have AlarmClock option when you open settings of device. You can define there 5 alarms, and set all week days, or as you want. This is normal operation/configuration of device, not connected to Fibaro.

if you do not have this option in settings, it means that you have older device or old firmware, and you unit does not support AlarmClock. All the latest units support it.

• iEast Player Lite - for HCL
• iEast Player - for HC2, recomended for single iEast device, but can handle also simple multiroom tasks
• iEast Controler - for HC2, recommended for multiroom configurations,

Depends what you mean "through". VD is only controller, shows state of real device, and send commands. It does not stream any media or music.

And VD also cannot explore Spotify library, to allow user or HC2 to choose. But it can start playback of music stored as Preset. And you can add Spotify music to the Preset (for example Spotify playlist). It will start to play without smartphone, without mobile iEast app and even without Spotify app active.

You refer to one year old post. There is completely new VD, that works with iEast devices with new firmware.

Which VD do you use? The one from Fibaro MarketPlace, or the one from beginning of this topic? The one from begining can be dangerous for stability o fyour system, due to too aggressive calls of ARP function, that rescan your network. It is recommended to use latest VDs, and these VD have support.

I think my problem is that, I can not find where to set up the presents...

so I think the VD is working find, just I have problems with ieast

I am not sure if I understand you correctly.

You do not know how to set up the preset? Presets can be setup from the mobile application only (so iEast Play app for Android or iOS). These applications have browsers for different sources, and allow to store your choice as a preset.

But you wrote that you have problems with volume control.

Which VD from MarketPlace do you use? There are 3. Do you use VD iEast Player one?

- playback from different online services

- playback from SD card

- multiroom (possibility to group several players into one zone).

- IR remote control

- Stereo 3.5mm analog output and SPDIF optical

- Great sound quality

- Wi-Fi and wired connection

 

But unfornunately there is no API in order to connect it to Fibaro.

And we spent some time to investigate requests from these devices and developed our own plugin for HC2.

At this moment plugin (virtual device) allows to do almost same as native application provided with device.

Set of different VDs is already available at Fibaro MarketPlace, with sign "approved for Fibaro". It is well working solution, works fine for me.
