Hi @AutoFrank I would be to embarrassed to share my current concept design. However now I know the functionality is all there I have employed a graphics design company to create my icons and floor plans.

my goal is to have a single tablet screen where I can control all aspects of my home quickly and intuitively. In my opinion the home remote will work best for this with its large library of compatible devices.

my plan is to have an interactive floor plan of my house and all devices assigned within there respective rooms. With the native Sonos support and full rtsp camera support I feel I can build an iPad controller that provides the functionality that the Fibaro System / iPad app lacks.

Another method of control that I have been playing with lately is through a Kodi plugin allowing control through a menu on my TV, the add-on was developed on the French forum site and can be viewed here:

and below is a video I made of it in action.

I just found this remote that was started on kickstart.com.  its a EU company selling it and its also z-wave enabled.  its an open source remote controller with a lot more flexablity than the Logitech. the SDK is open and they have it available on their site.  the remote is setup somewhat like the harmony remote.

i just preordered the bundle.  it looks extremely promising.

Thanks! I pre-ordered it then cancelled it within the same week, because it didn't have any integration yet for fibaro and it seemed just like another z-wave hub... Now that the programing is becoming a bit more mature, I think I'll give it another look!
