As long as the device's z-wave frequency matches, than its compatible.  Z-wave devices will work with any controller and interchangable, as long as they set for the particular region of your home controllers z-wave frequency l. This means  for example, Fibaro sensors will work with the Vera controller

As far as i'm aware Samsung is working with Zigbee, not with Z-wave. So the Smartthings are not compatible with Fibaro.

as i stated before, yes, you can.  before switching to fibaro, i used the original smartthings hub.  i was to able include fibaro door/window sensors and the zipato keypad without any issues...

@matt1981, you are talkting about fibaro devices to a smartthings hub, but OP was asking the opposite, smartthings devices to HC2.

@Bodyart I reread it and I stand corrected, smartthings branded sensors are zigbee, not z-wave. I misread it and understood it as z-wave devices connecting to the smartthings hub...  My error..
