List of Zigbee devices - users for users

Question

Posted

Dear users,

We know that you are eager to share your thoughts regarding all Zigbee devices that you have. With so many Zigbee devices available on the market it would extremely difficult to prepare a complete list of supported Zigbee devices which would  include useful remarks.

For this reason we would like to encourage you to share your thoughts with other community members - let's make this a list of tested Zigbee devices created by users for users.

As correctly pointed out by @petergebruers (kudos to you) "A nice list for Zigbee2MQTT already exists, complete with picture, reset procedure(s) and quirks:

Please login or register to see this link.

So we can add one of those 2149 devices to our HC3, test its behaviour and report back with a link to the EXACT same device.

It is important to link to the exact same devices as the one you tested because there are many lookalikes..."

Regards

ieeeAddr

Every ZigBee device has a unique identifier. It is like a MAC address on an ethernet controller.

And where can I find it?

You most likely don't need it and it is rarely printed on the device. But once you have joined the device it is listed on the "general" page on the HC3 web page, when you are looking at the devices page. It is after the aptly named label: "IEEE address:"

I use this identifier's last 4 digits to mark my devices, so if I have eg 10 door sensors in a box, I can easily know which one is which if I reset them.

this is the dev unique identification, you can find it under device general properties, e.g.:

IKEA E1524 Tradfri Remote:

Please login or register to see this link.

Not working as expected, it is added into the system, but there are no controls (Yet as I understand from @petergebruers).
Batterylevel is not reported back to the HC3, also not if I remove the battery for a few seconds and put it back in.

IKEA ICPSHC24-10EU-IL-1 LED Driver:

Working as expected, can be dimmed, but is instantaneous.

IKEA ICPSHC24-30EU-IL-1 LED Driver:

Working as expected, can be dimmed, but is instantaneous.

The LED Drivers don't report back status to the HC3 if they are turned on by the remote.

I have the IKEA E1810 TRADFRI Remote.

Does not work.

Exactly the same limitations as you describe. In the block scene, I can only select 'Battery level' as trigger.

And battery level stays at 0%.

Gentlemen, the sensor worked for 1 day on the first connection and it hung in the "move" position and it was like that for more than 20 hours. After disconnecting it, it could not be reattached to HC3. after many attempts it worked and it works properly for the 3rd day. I don't trust the SONOFF SNZB-03.

@K.Drozynski, is it an idea to add a table to the topic start with the devices that the FIBARO developers are working with?

I think this is good for the helping community to see some progress. ;)

Yes exactly, do not trust and do not use in critical systems. It is ok to switch on the light in the room as it is cheap, but for alarm system I would use something more robust like Fibaro motion sensor.
