zigbee List of Zigbee devices - users for users

Dear users,

 

We know that you are eager to share your thoughts regarding all Zigbee devices that you have. With so many Zigbee devices available on the market it would extremely difficult to prepare a complete list of supported Zigbee devices which would  include useful remarks.

 

For this reason we would like to encourage you to share your thoughts with other community members - let's make this a list of tested Zigbee devices created by users for users.

So we can add one of those 2149 devices to our HC3, test its behaviour and report back with a link to the EXACT same device.

This device can be added in 5.141.59 (beta), but it does not work as expected.

It incorrectly adds 1 Relay switch, and that`s it.

 

This is sold under 3 different "brands" (its the exact same device)

Frient - Smart HAN Sensor

Futurehome HAN sensor

Wattle AMS HAN power-meter sensor

 

Opinion: This should be detected as a power meter, and be available in the meters configuration.

Supporting this device would mean a lot for Scandinavian Home center users.

Power and energy does not work as expected : some child devices are created, but the value returned is always 0

Fibaro doesn't support power or energy monitoring on Zigbee devices.... yet? Hopefully in the near future they will add this ability.

Anyone knows if there's any option to change the physical switch type for these devices? By default it's set as a rocker (bistable) while I need a rebound one (monostable). I've read in the Aqara faq documentation, that "After it is connected with the external switch, you need to set it on the app. The default connection is the rocker switch.". No settings in Fibaro though. Is there a way to get there to the settings? I've checked the Fibaro api swagger but there's nothing fancy there for zigbee...

Seems new firmware for HC3 has been just released (5.142.83 (beta)), some more zigbee devices and capabilities should start working. I've just tested ‎Aqara WSDCGQ11LM and the pressure sensor is alive! You need to remove the device and add it from scratch to achieve this, though. I think they've also added support to vibration sensors and some more.

Could you explain to me, why in the changelog the brands for the  new Zigbee devices are not named.

We have added support for generic clusters responsible for specific functionality. Naming some won't change much because there are a lot of devices of the same implementation but with different brands/names but most of them use Tuya "handling" anyway.
Also some of the devices implement some things the "hard way" - not using clusters prepared by Zigbee Alliance. 

By adding support for one specific device this means support for several devices at the same time. 
Additionally, some of the devices may work differently even if the name is the same (different product revision) -  that is why we try to avoid giving exact names.

I will try to learn if we can prepare a list of devices that SHOULD work correctly and then publish it - but without any guarantee.

Only a madman will trust ZigBee on Fibaro. Especially sensor readings. I used zigbee temperature sensors, it was crazy.

Well, I'm using a few Aqara-branded and what they show is actually inline with what genuine Fibaro sensors report. What's disturbing is rather that there's no way to easily implement temperature offset/correction for zigbee stuff while for z-wave it's always there in the parameters.

 

I'm in a big need of being able to set parameters for zigbee devices - as mentioned in one of my previous posts I need to change a switch type to monostable and it's not feasible at all.
