I just need to know what the correct phrase is to dim a light with the time to accomplish the dim?

I accidentally sent a color command to a grouped_light that didn't support it.

Uploaded 0.2.1 that should fix it.

For dimming I think the correct way is to call startLevelIncrease or startLevelDecrease with the correct dimvalue set in the lights QV.

I am sorry I did't read your modified explanation for the new Yahue.

My problem was I modified my kitchen lights but they don't respond as HUE.

It's implemented on HUE spots and is working nice.

If I open the variable of the child device I only see one scene instead of all the scenes of that zone is that correct?

Still a bit confused about startleveledcrease and startlevelIncrease.

In the Hue scene the intensity is set on 1%(minimum)

I guess all levels I use start with switch:on followed by startlevelIncrease

I will fix the icon ring soon.

I realize that startLevelncrease will just start to dim up the value to 100%, unless some calls stopLevelChange...
So these functions are best connected to buttons operated by humans.
Have releases 0.2.3 that you can set a QV 'transition' on the child device with time in ms for transitions.
Will be used for turnOn,turnOff, and setValue.
SO you should be able to do
keuken.Keuken_Spots:value = 40
To set dim level to 40 and if you have a QV 'transition' on keuken.Keuken_Spots set to 5000 he transition will take 5s....
If 'transitions missing or 0 the transition is immediate.
Let me know how/if it works...

This is the first lights I did.

Keuken_Spots:

Dimmable lights (IKEA) 2x

Color temperature light (IKEA) 1x

 

On my TV_Lampen:

Hue color candle 3x

Hue lightstrip plus

Hue play Gradient 2x

 

TV_Lampen act the same as Keuken_Spots in one case they don't switch on even as transition is set on zero

I have big problems with my lights! >> Related to the HUE bridge, first time I have a problem with that new bridge. 

A few minutes ago the lights did't respond at all

Restarted HUE bridge and seems to help

Sorry I did't investigate that first.

About transition can it become different for switch on and off so that on can become instant and off smoothly?

Something is't right a lot of triggers in Eventrunner6 does't work anymore because the state of switching on in HUE app is not in the HC3!

Yahue is showing in debug those events of switching on or off if operated in HUE app

Jan, in block scenes, you can't change the lighting colors, even though there is an option. Now the light also turns on very quickly without dimming. I think dimming worked in the older version. Overall, the project is great; if you refine it, it will be really interesting. Thanks for your work.

In devices the icon does't change if light is on or off. (Color and Dim light)

As I can see now it will switch on without delay

For switching off I need more time and to have a separate Hue lamp to see exactly what happens. Now I have disturbance due to normal movements in house.
