Hi,

having problems with my setup:

Fibaro Dimmer 2, Bypass 2 and 24v transformer attached to a 25w Led strip. I cannot dim it properly, even though i can turn it on and off with physical button (not from fibaro interface)... without Bypass 2 nothing worked. The trafo is a LT2436FAS

 and the strip a 10w/m, 2,5m long.

I got recommended this setup from the shop. Dont know what to do to solve this, can anyone help me out here?

Regards.

Correction. I can dim it but not with the ordinary push button functionality. I push it once to start dimming, and push again to stop dimming. Not the ordinary hold-to-dim which I want...

Running Home Assistant with a lot of other Fibaro switches and all the others work as they should. This has to be a problem with the 24V transformer somehow. Should I replace it, with what?

The status of the dimming is not shown correctly in Home Assistant either... not even On or Off shows correctly.

I would recommend a driver with integrated Z-Wave, as this will eliminate the problem of an extra dimmer that may not work 100%.

Agree with @RH_Dreambox, your setup is not recomended.  What works for me is:

24V DC power supply (NOT LED driver) -> Fibaro RGBW device -> LED Strip.

So, the setup may work but you need first to have a momentary (monostable) switch (which returns to the position after click) and set the parameter of wall switch type to momentary (monostable) switch.
As for the status reports, make sure that Lifeline association is set in Dimmer (group 1, destination - hub node ID).

And yeah, better solution is to use RGBW controller to this one - simple DC power supply is sufficient then.
