  1. Hi, I'm trying to get my central heating pump to switch on when my Aeotec TRV valve is open. This ought to be easy. The TRV has a parameter which allows it to report the value position when it changes: Parameter 6: Valve percentage report Reports the valve percentage on change. Size: 1 Byte, Default Value: 0 Setting Description 0 Reporting disabled 1 - 100 Reporting Delta in percent It should be possible to create a scene that switches on the Fibaro Switch 2 which is connected to the heating pump/boiler relay. Now I've installed the devices I can't see how to do this from the Home Centre 2 UI. I don't see any way of specifying the value change message value in a scene. I also can't see how to see the messages that are received from the TRV to verify that they are being received. I guess that initially I need to work out how to switch this parameter 6 on - Fibaro don't appear to have added template support for the Aeotec TRV (nor my TKBHome thermostats ). Is this going to be a problem, or can I set them manually somehow? Can someone please give me a steer? Many thanks, Joe
  2. Hello! I have a germicidal lamp, and from it a remote controller. I want the Single/Double Switch 2 turn on this remote controller at a specific time. But in the HCL, I see that in scene I can turn it on and the signal will sound minute. Is it possible to somehow configure it to work so that the signal would turn on the remote controller and that's it? And then at a certain time a signal was sent to the remote controller and it turned off? Thank you
  3. Hi everyone, Could you please tell will it be OK for Double Switch 2 loose power on a regular base? I mean to put it in between a main switch and a load. So it is going to loose and get the power several times a day, will it be OK?
  4. I have single switch 2 module and two way wall switches configured as it is shown on the image. The unknown area is where the lights are (in one case I have 2 lights and in one case 6 staircase lights - but this is not relavant). I stated "unknow area" because I am not the one who were wiring this lights (electritions did) so I am not sure how the wires go to and from the lights to the wall switch... I can only open the wall switches and they are wired as you can see on the attachment. So my question is if this is enought information to put the single switch 2 and it will work or I need some wires from or to the light also ... I have tryed to wire it like it is mentioned in instructions: - Put blue wire in N - Identify the Live wire with voltage tester (in my case the black wire was always on - so it is Live) - I have put the black wire then in L on switch - And other wire - brown to Q - L and S1 to wall switch And this wiring has worked for me and I can manipulate with it - but I have one problem with second wall switch... It has to be always turned on, so my circle is working... If I turn of the Switch 2 (wall switch) the circuit was breaken I guess because it stoped working. So my question is if I can manage to fix this thing with the data that I have, or how can I proceed? have I done something wrong? I can say that I have also try to connect the Single switch 2 modul to second switch, but in this case I can't use the switch for turn on/off the lights... I don't have any more ideas for how to fix this. Should the single switch 2 modul always be in specific wall switch, or is it always possible to put it in one or the other wall switch? Thank you for your help!!! Kind regards Jani
  5. I am eager to understand the function of the different "Devices" showing up on my HC2 when installing a Fibaro Switch2 or Dimmer2: A Fibaro Switch 2 will show up in the HC2 as Master + 4 devices. From previous helpful answers I have accepted the Master as merely a "shell". I also see that one of the slave devices is named "Remote", so I assume this is to be used for direct association to a remote of some sort. But why do I see three switches and not just two for each of the S2 and S2 terminals? One of the three seems to be directly controlling one (and just one) of the remaining two. But not the other way round. Switching A will switch B, but not C. And B will not switch A. I´ve tried to figure out the purpose of this arrangement, but ran out of ideas. Any insight into this question will be appreciated! The manual did not provide any help.
  6. How to trigger a scene in relay switch 2 by double or tripple clicking in lua?
  7. I want to be able to either : send a http request when a switch is pushed - in order to send a command to a GCE IPX800 relay or 'push'a virtual device to send the request when a switch is pushed. I can send a LUA command to the IPX800 and it works. I did not find how to do the same when a switch is pushed. I need to do that because the switches are not directly connect to the lights, ... Thanks a lot for your help. Pierre
