Update 3.901 ALPHA for HC2

HC2 3.901 Alpha

Alpha version is designed for user testing.

Installation shall be performed only after reading and fully accepting following terms.

CHANGELOG

- introduction to the plugins (Denon Amplifier, LG Bluray, ONKYO Amplifier, Philips Bluray, Pioneer Amplifier, Samsung TV, Sonos, Sony Bluray, Sony TV)

- new improved Z-Wave engine

- cooperation with Z-Wave locks

- extended functionality of sensors (tamper support)

- extended support of Fibaro Smoke Sensor

- extended support of Fibaro Motion Sensor

- possibility of hiding devices

- possibility of disabling devices

- multithreading

- many backend improvements

IMPORTANT

In order to update to 3.901 alpha Home Center 2 must be first updated to version 3.591 beta.

It is recommended to make a backup before updating to alpha version.

Downgrading back to stable requires full recovery and restoring backup.

UPDATE PROCESS

1. To update to alpha make sure that you are locally logged as admin on your HC2.

2. Type the following address in your web browser:

http:///services/startAlphaUpgrade.php?key=

and press Enter.

3. Update screen with progress bar should appear.

Please be patient whilst update to alpha version as it takes more time than usually because of conversion process.

Does the NorthQ power reader work for any one in the Alpha? Mine is only showing as a z-wave device. While it states correct what z-wave version and producer it is from the value is not shown anywhere... Andrew can this be fixed?

No it won't work the haven't implemented the support in this alpha but a Fibaro Dev told me the ar working on implementing support in a later Fibaro HC2 update

I just noticed that it is not possible to switch devices from a Virtual device. It worked before but not in the Alpha. (Probably the reason that Automatic lights virtual device doesn't work anymore).

Has anyone tried to add Satel Integra with this alpha version?

I had a (rare) opportunity to test that yesterday - connection test was OK, the panel was added and the model identified correctly (128), the popup progress bar finished on 100% (reading configuration etc.) but no zones / inputs / outputs appeared. I have tried rebooting the HC2 and reconfiguring the panel in HC2 to no avail.

I don't have access to the Satel panel anymore so I cannot help you further with the tests at this time.

I use Satel Integra with the Alpha (updated from stable) and my Satel work BUT i confirm: no zones / inputs / outputs appeared. Fibaro know the problem

Lauri, you should do a full recovery (1.xx -> 3.5x -> 3.590), you do this? may be a problem with the pen drive...

replaced all the lines and still same result. No video. I tried to view it through my HC2 on multiple browsers and the fibaro (android) app. all give black screens but when I enter the IP address into my browser the video stream shows up immediately.

are there settings on my camera i'm suppose to enable?

I'm almost sure that this caused my problem and also to others.

Recovery mode starts and then stays for 40% and error comes up: Some recovery files missing or corrupted. I have tried this multiple times but always same result.
