to be there, and that i assume many people have problems but are not "techy" enough to apprehend it properly or aren't the use of the gadget inside the way that introduces the troubles to them.

Guys, are you still with FIBARO? Is the time right to go for HC3? Maybe other vendor?

I am still with HC2 and 4.150: 161 devs, 53 scenes, using several VDs from sankotronic, VDs for TVs, speakers, my own custom LUAs etc. and I don't want to come to dead end like with apple approach, neither into troubles with spending hours to recommission all my devices from scratch.

What's your recommendation? Where are you now with your HA?

Ha-ha.

I am still gnawing the cactus ? (still with fibaro, but half devices is ZigBee and zigbee2mqtt)

if you want to asking where I do HA?!
NODE-RED my 1st love.

I'm still with Fibaro HC2. Have 113 z-wave devices included, 117 VD's and 81 LUA scenes. Working with 4.600 as expected.

    I'm still working on

and when I finish it this year I will continue to use HC2 until I port UHAS to HC3.

Most problems that I had with HC2 were caused by bugs in my code. I had to rebuild z-wave network once, but that was after I learned more about z-wave. Longest period working without crash was more than 6 months and it was not crash that finished that period, but me making backup :-)

My running system is HC2 with @Sankotronic his UHAS (I'm one the beta testers :-D ). HC3 has a little different approach requiring re-thinking, so I'm using it to develop new (mostly QA's) code and also using the proxy developed by @jgab, so i can control my devices in HC2 network on HC3 box and vice versa. That means i don't need to exclude my devices from HC2 and include them on HC3 - I don't need the migration, until i have good working software on HC3 :-D

I'm still with Fibaro, running a HC3. I also have Home-Assistant on a Raspberry Pie, mostly just to check it out.

    hi @AnonymousJohn,

I'm also still on HC2. Moved the whole installation from a house to an apartment 2 years ago.

That kept me bussy for a while.

Currently not planning to move to HC3 anywhere soon... unless my HC2 dies some day ?.

Since Christmas I fully migrated to HC3 from HC2. I have 40+ zwave devices. I have only zwave devices from Fibaro. I use Hue, Shelly, Sonos and Bose also.

Until now it runs good, I don’t use beta versions. Run only stable. I try to run full automation with Sonos connected but I use own minimal code (I learn from big projects here but program it myself only the code I need) and use Node-Red for interfacing Sonos and Gardena. Shelly is MQTT (10 devices) and I want them in QA. This is not finished yet because it’s my garden lighting.

I think the controller is good if you know what you are doing, and work around some quirks.

Thanks guys for all inputs. You confirmed that no need to rush with HC2->HC3 migration. Maybe SW Migration of my HC2 from 4.150 only to 4.600 is smth I have to consider.
