Well, it feels like Philips have given up and is focusing on Matter... not much evolvement of the v2 api.

I still feel that I lack some basic stuff from v2 before becoming serious with it...

    (and v1 still works)

    Jan,

Question about Hue dimmer with 4 buttons.

Do I see it right that in Hue Connector I will see one parent and some ID's long release etc?

This will replace :key? If they are listed in

    self.hue.deviceMap

I would not use HueConnector - it's not been updated for 2 + years...
    I use

these days. Because it creates separate QAs for the devices it works with ER as is.
The only special thing with Yahue is that there is no traditional lights and set color support for lights.
Instead it requires you to have created Hue scenes with the lights and colors.
Then the rooms and zones becomes light QAs that you can turn on/off set level, and recall Hue scenes to.
It may feel like a limitation to not control individual lights, but it actually works well in practice.

Jan, Pitty I use COH but the only missing is the two way traffic HC3>>Hue >> HC3.

This lack I wanted to cover with HUE Connector.

I don't think I will buy new fancy HUE stuff.

So I will stay using what I have.

    Thanks for your advice.
