So I spent a couple of days chasing CSS bugs, percolating click handlers, flex container offset mismatch, and general javascript quirkiness, trying to align the behaviors on Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android 🥵

Cross-platform front-end developers are not payed enough :-)

Anyway, seems to have it under control now...

Yes, there is a PayPal link at the bottom of the first post.
There is also a BuyMeaCoffee link, but I seem to have trouble at the moment withdrawing the money that people have donated there..., so PayPal seems safer 😀

I just upgrade to 0.1.30 and everything went well.

    I have only a little issue :

When I display or change view to another, all widgets are located on top left of the window , togling Edit mode and all widgets are again placed correctly.

I am using Home Map on Windows 10.

    Yes it is.🙂

I have noticed that, at Home Map launch and first view of a floor, some widgets are not placed correctly but after a toggle of Edit Mode they are relocated correctly and this does not change later when changing floor view.

page there is now an android build. You can download and test it (need to approve and scan the untrusted app to install).
It's an ARM64 build only, but most decent android tablets are arm64 these days.
Let me know about bugs.... it's been hell building it :-)

I have also uploaded the iPad app to apple, and as soon as it is built and approved, I will setup a TestFlight link so iPad people could test too...
TestFlight is a way to register and download test apps from developers without having to go through the official
    AppStore.

    Great to hear it Jan!

If I open HomePlan it will give a very nice oversight off the house.

Question is it possible to have the background color different for smoke censors, humidity, lights and temperature?

Default backgrounds are black so it is difficult to separate.

With this as possibility I don't need to have a floor plan devided in parts and it will be much easier for my wife to operate by one floorpan the whole apartment.

Perhaps at the side  some values of self chosen Global Variables?

    Thanks for consideration.

Jan I did something wrong I hope?

    I updated Homeplan

Pushed the button  start server >> got your floorpan!

In path it does't save my chosen path.

I can't get my own stuff back

    My backup.zip is corrupt.

    Should I panic?

Don't push button that you don't know what they do! :-)
Sorry, that settings option had a bug... it's a future enhancement that is not implemented yet....

Yes, a little panic is always good :-)

Please check if you have a homemapdata folder in

    /Users/<your user>/Library/Application Support/HomeMap/homemapdata

    Open a terminal and do

Please login or register to see this code.

To open the Library folder in Finder you need to right click in your user directory and open "Show view options" and check "Show Library folder"

This is the default place where homemap store your data on MacOS.
If the folder is there copy it to the desktop or a safe place. New version today should be able to restore from it.

So, if you have your homemapdata folder, you compress it to a .zip file.
Then update to v0.1.65 and restore from that zip file.

In 0.1.65 there are some fixes about how homemapdata folder is handled.

The settings "HomeMap Data Path" now works, and should show where the homemapdata folder is.
The app will create an app data folder somewhere in your system when installed for the first time.
For MacOS that is ~/Library/.../HomeMap folder and for Windows it is somewhere else, Windows specific.

    That folder will contain
.../HomeMap/homemapdata/* -- the folder with your config.json, icons and widgets and floors

.../HomeMap/settings.json -- a file with credentials and the "HomeMap Data Path"

So the homemapdata folder is located there by default. We can set "HomeMap Data Path" to point to another folder somewhere else, and that will be used instead of .../HomeMap/homemapdata
However, the settings.json is always kept in .../HomeMap/settings.json

When we do an export, it zips up the homemapdata folder (pointed out "HomeMap Data Path") and saves it elsewhere.
When we do an restore, it overwrites the "HomeMap Data Path" place with the data in the zip file

Jan, fixed you are a real wizzard!

    Only need to reposition icons.

If a device is deleted in HC3 you still see it in HomePlan

    Lights don't be sync anymore.

If I switch all lights on it's not showing on HomePlan

Restarted HUE, HC3 and HomePlan >> no change

If uninstall in HOmePlan and install again light stays on.

Replace some icons and remove a few>>safe getting error can't safe floor1?????????

    My floorpan is gone!!!

Is it connected - the green light in the upper right corner? you may have lost the user/password.

Yes, if a device  is deleted on the HC3 it is not deleted on the homemap. You have to delete it manually for now. In the future it may be deleted automatically.

However, every time the device manager is opened the list of devices on the HC3 is refreshed.

That's a good idea. I'll add it to upcoming features.
I'll hope that in soon (they say 1-2 days) Apple have approved my TestFlight account and you can start to try out the iPad version.
