Hello everyone, I was wondering how can i control a 24 VAC valve using a Smart Module or another Fibaro Device. I used to install a Relay Switch to control this kind of valves, but now, when i read the techical description of Smart Module i can find this sentence : "Always use the same power source for L and IN terminals" How can i control 24 VAC Valves? Thanks.

Fibaro FGD-211 and FGD-212 on smartthings with Momentary Switches
scr321 posted a question in Dimmer and Bypass
I have several Fibaro FGD-211 and FGD-212 on Smartthings Hub 2 with Momentary Switches (MK Grid type). When I initially add a dimmer to the hub it works fine on both the wall momentary switch and also with the app and Z-wave control via the hub. But after a few minutes, the hub seems to reconfigure the dimmer parameters(?) so that the wall hardware switch doesn't work at all. The app continues to work fine for control. I note that there are some Device Handlers in the smarttthings community that should solve this problem but don't seem to. This is quite a critical problem as I have dimmers in every room and at the moment I cannot connect them to the hub - otherwise when you walk into the room and use the light switch it doesn't work. Hello all, I'm working of a Zipatile controller from Zipato. But all my dimmer modules are FGD-212 modules. There are recent firmware upgrades I don't have. How can I update the modules myself, via the Zipato controller? I can't find an instruction on upgrading the firmware anywhere. Regards, Pieter

Hi. My currently situation in my hallway (look wirring diagram!). So, which fibaro module to use to get this to work? I have one phase L1 to first two-way (toggle switch). Ceiling light is connected to the last two-way switch (There is no connection box between). Beside last two-way switch i have another 2-pole switch for my water heater (there can I place fibaro module - there is another one phase L2 and neutral wire to power fibaro module). But here is another problem. Switches for light is on phase L1, but power for fibaro module will be taken from Phase L2... Check again my situation wirring diagram..... So, how to wire fibaro module to control my hallway lights and which fibaro module to use? What is best solution on this situation? Please, help...

I would like to know which module I can use very safely for my bathroom ventilation? Safely because I probably need to install the module close to a wooden wall. And because the stories I read on this forum (modules are heating, melting, Qubino modules failing regulated safety specification, ...) I would like to be sure. The bathroom ventilation is a fan managing the humidity itself. See for example : http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/551324/sygonix-33925W-Wand-en-plafondventilator-230-V-756-mh-10-cm?ref=list It's also running continously on a very low fan speed. It only increases the speed if the humidity requires the fan speed to increase. However, my wife really can't accept the noise if it is running on high speed (even regulated somewhat lower than the maximum) if she goes to bed. I even don't hear it running on the maximum speed. Therefore I would like her to switch the entire 220V power down (instead of me shutting down the entire bathroom power) if the fan started running on high speed if she goes for a sleep. Power also can be switched off and on. Because once switched off, the fan never will goes on again for the first coming hours (unless the next person will take a shower). So, which module you trust to manage continous 220V load and probably vary in power consumption? I have a Fibaro HCL controller. Remember, I only want to manage the power to the fan. Not the fan regulation itself. However I'm open for better idea's. Once I have a module, offcourse I can also partially regulate it via scenes (example, switch of during certain hours). thanks.

HC2 and HCL compatibility lists?
andersgreen posted a question in Other Devices / Third-party devices
When looking around at compatibility lists on the net they often refer to HCL or HC2 4.x. If I am running a HCL with 4.x should that be fully compatible with modules for HC2 4.x? Is there something in the support for modules that differ from HC2 and HCL on the same firmware? /Anders
