Fibaro could you give us some information about the motion sensors working. my question is: Is the functionality described as learning your patterns and knowing what lights to turn on. based on that the sensor detects motion direction, or that the software in the HC will learn the patterns when using multiple motion sensors in multiple locations?

That would be nice, because now I'm using multiple sensors in one room and calculate the time difference between them to determine direction

The sensor looks actually nice piece of device! We are waiting to get first ones to use them in our projects. I like the size as it gives lots of possibilities where to use it

You also will also love the new devices integrated into HC2

It was nice to meet some people like Krystian.

I asked about the working of the motion sensor. it is build with a matrix of 4 PIR sensors. by measuring the time difference between detection it detects the direction of the movement.

This can probably be used in LUA Scenes that get triggered by a sceneActivation ID.

Not before OS4.xx though...

Wow, that sounds amazing! These guys are very innovative indeed. Must be great sitting in their lab thinking of new ideas all day.

Seems to be soon as they hinted about it on twitter and facebook the same way as the days before HC lite was released.

What annoys me about fibaro is exactly this. Trying to build suspense about future product launches but not properly backing up and supporting current products.

The sensible thing to do is to take two steps back and provide proper documentation and support on the existing products before diving head first into every new kind of product one can think of.

Focus the whole team for 4-6 or even 8 weeks on making proper documentation available and accurate on existing products. Cover your bases before expanding the product line.

Fibaro aims to be the Apple of home automation. The biggest and most important difference between the early years of Apple and Fibaro is that Fibaro doesn't take care of the customers invested in their system. I hope that this will change soon.

Steve Jobs said that there's a 1000 nos for every yes. That means saying no to enough ideas in order to do the ones you say yes to properly.
