Question

Posted

i´ve just received my flood sensor this week and tried to pair it with homekit, the process went well, code read, etc. but at the end it says that the code is wrong and try again; i've done this for at least 15 times all with the same result "wrong code". I've already contacted support but they just limited they response to a "This is strange situation" but no solution nor sending the right code.

Hi @balboaf ,

Have you tried entering the number manually instead of scanning it?

Yes, several times, and the result is the same; i´m returning both products, the sensor and the button.

Hi Fibaro - having the same issue here - is there a fix for this, or do i need to return my flood sensor as well?

Have tried pairing my flood sensor now for

close to ten times both manually and with a camera - and hard reset the sensor. Anyhow, i get a ”wrong startup code” message.

Having just been through panic mode 'cos I received a switch unit without any documentation I have discovered that the homekit code is printed on the module label with the title S/C. Perhaps you could check that code matches the one on the documentation?
