List of Zigbee devices - users for users

Question

Posted

Dear users,

We know that you are eager to share your thoughts regarding all Zigbee devices that you have. With so many Zigbee devices available on the market it would extremely difficult to prepare a complete list of supported Zigbee devices which would  include useful remarks.

For this reason we would like to encourage you to share your thoughts with other community members - let's make this a list of tested Zigbee devices created by users for users.

As correctly pointed out by @petergebruers (kudos to you) "A nice list for Zigbee2MQTT already exists, complete with picture, reset procedure(s) and quirks:

Please login or register to see this link.

So we can add one of those 2149 devices to our HC3, test its behaviour and report back with a link to the EXACT same device.

It is important to link to the exact same devices as the one you tested because there are many lookalikes..."

Regards

@K.Drozynski

The Fibaro HC3 is more than 2 years old. From the beginning it was announced that the HC3 is going to support ZigBee. Ok, took a bit longer than expected, but in the meantime the competition is further and they support much more than just lights. As you can see here in the forum everyone uses ZigBee devices.

Ex: Aqara Motion Sensor P1

Supported by : Aeotec Smartthings Hub V3, Homey Pro, Hubitat Elevation Home Automation Hub (Model C-7), Home Assistant

NOT supported : FIBARO

So:

  • What are the plans of FIBARO to FULLY support ZigBee? BETA time is over.
  • When?

Develco EMIZB-132

Please login or register to see this link.

This device can be added in 5.141.59 (beta), but it does not work as expected.

It incorrectly adds 1 Relay switch, and that`s it.

This is sold under 3 different "brands" (its the exact same device)

Frient - Smart HAN Sensor

Futurehome HAN sensor

Wattle AMS HAN power-meter sensor

Opinion: This should be detected as a power meter, and be available in the meters configuration.

Supporting this device would mean a lot for Scandinavian Home center users.

Hi,

please consider more options:

- possible to add/pair

-- works/doesn't work

-- (if it works) what value/function are available ?

No need to do the same job twice. A nice list for Zigbee2MQTT already exists, complete with picture, reset procedure(s) and quirks:

Note: currently not possible to set power_on_behavior. EDIT: to be more precise: HC# supports power_on_behavior, the device supports power_on_behavior, but there is no GUI to set this lamp property.

Xiaomi/Aqara TVOC sensor:

Please login or register to see this link.

In HC3 TVOC values are missing. Only temperature and humidity is shown.

Attention: This device keeps "dying" in my system in office and at home. Maybe not recommended atm. @K.Drozynski, this device is battery VOC sensor, that is missing in Z-Wave portfolio. Please, can you guys look into it. Issues HC3-759 and HC3-733 in Fibaro feedback portal.

Xiaomi/Aqara light intensity sensr

Please login or register to see this link.

Works. Shows illuminace.

Xiaomi/Aqara door/window sensor

Please login or register to see this link.

Works. Shows temperature and state of magnetic contact.

Xiaomi/Aqara motion sensor

Please login or register to see this link.

Works. Shows motion, temperature, illuminesence, battery Voltage.

Blind time (the time it shows motion occured) is about 1 minute.

Immax NEO 07088L

Please login or register to see this link.

It work. Shows as Fibaro com.fibaro.multilevelSwitch.

Little tedious to make reset sequence right.

Ledvance Smart+ Gardenpole

Please login or register to see this link.

It works. Shows as multicolor controller. Tuneable white does not work as Fibaro does not supports it, yet.

IKEA LED1623G12

Please login or register to see this link.

Unable to add, despite light being updated via my Tradfri to latest firmware and factory reseted. Adding and removing works completely fine in my Tradfri gateway.

IKEA LED1546G12 (I think its this one)

Please login or register to see this link.

You are able to add and control it without getting feedback (on, off, setValue works). Works bi-directional few minutes after reboot, then it got stuck at 50% (I used it in hallway night scene to set to 50%). Issue HC3-760 in Fibaro feedback portal.

Tunable white control does not work. @petergebruers, interesting is, there is property Color in API, atleast with mine. Mine showed 370, but it looks like to me it as first 3 digits of white temperature in kelvin.

Zigbee only HUE lights.

Please login or register to see this link.

Please login or register to see this link.

You are able to add them and control them fine. If they gut stuck or you need to make HC factory restore only possibility to reset was via HUE gateway, if backup to restore is not possible.

I just added one. May I suggest you have a faulty on or maybe it is dying? We are talking about a very "heavy" light, I mean it weighs a lot, more than any other bulb? I have had several of them and 3 already died...

  • One started blinking when on full power, then died. I took it out the lamp holder which has quite good thermal properties and I nearly scorched my hand. This one is in the bin.
  • One started blinking, when it was OFF! This one isn't in the bin yet, but see video below why I probably won't be able to fix it.
  • Third one is dead. It seems to have failed while it was off

I think the rubbery material + sandwich construction causes long term problems...

Maybe, as I was able to add it only via Tradfri remote. I do not feel any hotspots compared to HUE, so I think It could be antenna problem.

HG06106C Lidl Livarno Lux E27 bulb RGB

Please login or register to see this link.

The HG06106C is actually a RGB + CCT devices, as verified by the LIDL - TUYA app and confirmed by its brighness in "white" mode.

Does not work as expected, only shows RGB controls

Adds as "com.fibaro.FGRGBW442CC"

This is a TuYa rebranded device, it may have partial support for ZigBee standards, but mainly uses TuYa protocol layer on top for full control.

HG06104A Lidl Livarno Lux smart LED light strip 2.5m

Please login or register to see this link.

Same issue as previous one: this is a RGB+CCT strip and cannot be controlled by type "com.fibaro.FGRGBW442CC"

HG06337 Lidl Silvercrest smart plug (EU, CH, FR, BS, DK)

Please login or register to see this link.

There is definitely nothing "smart" about this plug, it does "on" or "off"... works... One of the ugliest, bulkiest and dumbest device I have ever seen.

Does NOT work as expected, this is a "tunable white" but recognized as a dimmable bulb, type "com.fibaro.multilevelSwitch"

SP 120 Innr Smart Plug

Please login or register to see this link.

Works as expected: exposes a relay, a A meter and a V meter plus W and Wh

Opinion: this devices is no longer in production, its successor SP 220 no longer measures anything. The SP 120 has the potential to SPAM your Zigbee network with frequent updates.

E1702 Ikea TRADFRI control outlet

Please login or register to see this link.

Works as expected. It is a dumb relay. Also runner up in the contest "ugliest dumbest plug" - only beaten by the LIDL Wall Plug I have mentioned before. But the Ikea isn't actually bad if you use the remote switch (which you have to because the plug itself has no button)... Wall Plugs should have a remote switch because the plug will be used in an inconvenient place...
