INTRODUCTION The script can control all blinds that are changed daily at the same time or at the same event. The script should be called cyclically every minute. For this purpose, for example, the script "Main scene FTBE" from Sankotronic can be used. USAGE In the blind_table add a new line for every blind and every event. The same blind may hold several events or several positions. Call the script cyclically every minute by your script which sets normally the TimeOfDay variable PREREQUISITES Fibaro Home Center 2 COPYRIGHT THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED 'AS-IS', WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. 2. I finally got around to adding some blinds to my HA setup I didn't want to have to run 220v or 12V wires to the blind location and I couldn't find a zwave or zigbee rechargable roller blind motor. I went for the following rechargable RF roller blind motor from Rollerhouse https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07RWTYDXG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Apparently it is 6 months battery life with 1 up/down per day, but time will tell. There is also a solar recharge option but I may decide to DIY that myself at some future date Very easy to fit to the blind and setup the limit points, some pictures here for reference In order to integrate with my HC2, I used the Sonoff RF bridge to send RF commands to the blind. The bridge is flashed with Tasmota (for easier control) and the RF Chip in the bridge is upgraded to a new fw provided by Portisch (both on git) The Portisch RF chip upgrade allow the RF Bridge to capture the RF commands and I used bitbucket (online tool) to convert them from a received RF command to a command I can get the bridge to transmit. The bridge has a limited range but even if you had to install one bridge per 2 adjacent rooms, it woudl be cheap enough It takes a little trial and error to find the right RF command and I documented the process here - https://github.com/Portisch/RF-Bridge-EFM8BB1/issues/148 including the final commands that worked for me The result is a VD in my HC2 that I can control the blinds from I still need to find a way to track position of the blind (up or down) but that's a future project I've ordered a few more of these motors to automate some other rooms _af
  3. Hi, I have Fibaro HC2 and google home. I connected them together. Lights works fine, but i dont know how to control the blinds / curtains. I had a look at https://manuals.fibaro.com/knowledge-base-browse/gh-commands-list/ This does not cover anything for blind / curtain. Any pointers on how this can be controlled? Whatever i try Fibaro agent keep on asking "which device"? I tried "Switch On ...", Open <device> but none of them seem to work. Regards, Vijay
  4. Hello everybody, I'm new in this forum and also in this "business" so please tell me if I make any mistakes and so on. At the moment I'm doing a renovation in my new house. We have decided to make all the electronic and cabling new. A bus system like KNX was discussed but in the end to expensive in my opinion. For the moment I "only" would like to control my rollers, my two jalousies, two LED stripes and maybe the spots at the ceiling via smartphone and if possible additionally via Amazon Alexa. The first idea was to use Warema web control because the jalousies are also from Warema but I don't wanna use different apps for all the things I like to control now and of course in the future. Warema doesn't need any switch on the wall for controlling (they use a "Pluggable radio receiver for an STAK/STAS connection" directly in the blind box) so we haven't placed switches at the wall for the rollers and Jalousies. In the meantime, I was nearly clear to use Homematic for all these things but while I was searching if everything runs as I imagined via Homematic I found Fibaro. Now I think this is the best for me!? What do you think? Summery: - is Fibaro the right Smarthome solution for me? - which Fibaro solution is the right one for me? - does Fibaro and Amazon Alexa work together? - does iOS and maybe also the Home App from the iPhone works with Fibaro? - is it possible to control the rollers, my two Jalousies and two LED stripes without and switch and how? I would be very grateful if you help me asap. Thank you very much in advance. BR Marco
  5. I have enabled scene activation on my blind modules and I have a scene that triggers as expected when I click once to open my window and again when I click on the same button to stop it from opening any further; the same happens when I click on the right gang to close and pause. The problem is that I need a different outcome when I click once on the left gang to open vs the second time when it pauses the window; similarly for closing and pausing. I can't seem to find a way to determine that the blind has just started opening or whether it has just paused. I have tried value and value2 but they always show as 0. Does anyone have any ideas? PS: positioning does not work as I am controlling windows not blinds and they work differently ;(
