Hi, Recently My HC2 went into recovery mode, but unfortunately when i tried to log in again into it, it happens that i forgot the login id, if there is anyway or someone who can help i can talk to please let me know. Thanks in advance.

My HC2 was running fine for serveral weeks on ver. 5.10. Yesterday I noticed, that I I can'nt connect using my Phone. I checked from my PC - same behavior. Internal Error! I than switched off the HC2 using the button at the back. Wait for a minute and switched it back on. Now I getting "Starting Services". I left it now for couple of hours. No change! I did switch it off and on aggain, but the HC2 is not accessable anymore. I did not made any changes to the HC2, I also did not add any devicves. What can I do to gain access and control again. It's quite urgent thx & regards Rolf

Has anyone experienced / overcome the following ? My overview pictures don't work, but if I click a camera button the camera works fine, ( click the camera number button ) in realtime, and all is well, then when I rotate the phone to get full screen, I get a "No Video" and black screen. Going back to the overview I generally have to refresh network to get the smaller view showing again. The cameras seem to work fine otherwise, I can even pinch in in the overview screen. HikVision Turret and Cube cameras all exhibit the same behaviour. Any thoughts on where to start ? Cheers, al.

Hi there, My hc2 keeps on reminding me that the backups that i have made so far are incompatible and that I have to make new ones. But in the backup screen is says that the backups that I made so far are compatible. Is it a bug, and/or do more people experience this? Let me know. hc2.pdf

Hi, my google home fibaro dude ( weird having a different voice ) keeps finding my hc2 with the correct serial number then when I select the number one for the device he finds he tells me “I wasn’t able to select home centre” .. so I’m not sure how to disentangle him from my google to resend the setup link and I’m so close its more frustrating than when I was using IFTTT !! Pretty fast responses too! Anyone know where / how to view connections in both directions so I can clear them and try starting again ? I’m on 4.153b and wonder if that has anything to do with it ? Hi Fibaro staff and users, I've in problem with HC2-FibaroID and user authentication for remote acces I haven't find the place where share access to HC2 to second (and third, etc…) FibaroID to allow remote access to my family members. Current I find only following ways 1. share full access to my FibaroID (name and password) with instructuon how to connect through this - not best way, becouse I don't like to give full access to all mu houses 2. direct HTTP flow through my firewall and ask them to access directly - extremly unsecure way becouse lack of HTTPS Could You give some hint, how to behaive or could you point me the right option or (on case lack of this) plan in future developments add that kind of functionality With bests Henn

Device inventory scene Hello everybody, this is a simple scene that shows you all the objects in the HC2 and their number, no matter if zwave devices, users, virtual devices and so on. See the attached screenshot. The script does not need an autostart or other triggers, rather it is meant to be executed ad hoc. In any case, it is no longer necessary to count the devices by hand in the future. -
Hello! We recived a broken HC2 at the office. Reporting that an end-user can`t connect to the HC2. Can`t find the HC2 with Fibaro finder nor using Advanced IP Scanner (looking for a mac adress) I have tried using the backup IP adress: 192.168.81.1, adjustig my computer to 192.186.81.x. Still cant find it with Fibaro Finder / Advanced IP Scanner. Tried regular boot multiple times with and without Recovery Stick plugged in. When I did regular boot. ONLY the power LED was lit up. And yes, I know the ethernet port I used has a direct connection to my computer. (As i use it on a daily basis.) Any suggestions on this? Is there some sort of "Quick fix"? Or do Fibaro need to take a look at this. Thanks! Best regards Hans

Hi, I was searching on the forum about 2-way communication between Domoticz and HC2 (or HCL). What is my situation? At the moment I am running Domoticz with Fibaro modules and I am considering to move to Fibaro, however I want to keep my LUA scripts in Domoticz for the time being. The idea is to exclude all devices in Domoticz and move them to HC2 (or HCL) and keep the scripting running on Domoticz, so I am looking for a way to get variables from Fibaro to Domoticz for the LUA scripts. Furthermore if a variable from Fibaro triggers something in the LUA script in domoticz I want to sent a command back to Fibaro from domoticz. Is that possible? It is an in between solution so that my HA can keep on running. Thx already. Rik

Hi. Yesterday I made a backup of my HC2 (version 4.180), which I do from time to time (usually without problems). After the backup it restarted, and then 36 of my devices were "not configured"! A lot of devices that I had hidden in the user interface, reappeared. The unconfigured devices are impossible to configure. They just have a status of "reconfiguring", and that's all, for many hours. The devices don't work, of course. If I try to, say, adjust i light dimmer, it says "configuring" and then nothing else. No response from Fibaro support either. I tried to restore a backup. No change. Please, wise forum, help! Helge

Just bought the siren from Aeotec, and tried playing around with it yesterday. If I add the device with "Add in security mode if device supports it" it has trouble reading parameters, and if I press on the sirene does not react. However, if I add it without selecting secure mode, the sirene works as expected and I can change parameters and turn it on and off as I like. Another weird thing I see: when I include the sirene, it defaulted to being on. Weird behaviour, but I believe this is a problem with Aeotec. Have anyone else seen this problem where secure mode doesn't work? HC2 version 4.120 -
Hi, I´m writing a couple of VERY SIMPLE LUA Scenes that I have linked to Double Click action of a double switch 2. The scene often works fine, but sometimes, some the turnon or turnoff actions are not executed. (by instance, instead of turning off the 3 lights, only 2 are turnned off, or maybe the vent turnon fails...) Also tried added sleep between commands but the result is the same. Any idea? This is quite frustrating... When I run the scen from the debuger interface, it seems that it works properly... Sending serial commands to Global Cache iTach Flex (RS232/RS485)

Hello guys, I ran into interesting problem. Honestly i do not know if problem is in Fibaro or Global Cache, so i need some help. Ticket in partners dedicated channel: #95470. I'm doing VD for a customer (Fibaro dealer) for control of Somfy RTS module (VD is below). But i'm able to receive only 8 comands, then it seems like connection get stucked. If i send commands from iTest (global cache app), that i am not a problem to receive more than 8 commands. If i send commands from Fibaro to PC directly (Hercules app can be set as TCP server), then i'm able receive more than 8 commands (Same port and protocol, just diffrent IP adress). I'm sending those serial commands (RS-232/RS-485) to my Laptop to application Hercules (Link below). Global Cache i'm using is iTach Flex IP. Cables connected are Flex Link RS-232 cable and Flex Link RS-485 cable. I tested it with both. Hi I purchased an HC2 and accessories from the UK and have been running a system for 2 years in Hong Kong where the power plugs are the same as the UK. I am about to relocate to New Zealand where the Zwave band is different. Can a user change the Zwave band of a HC2 unit or is the Zwave chipset different for each Zwave region? If it cannot be changed in the field, I will sell all my UK Kit and start again! thanks Darren Breeze

Hi All I’ve just bought an Aeotec Wallmote Quad controller. When I add it to my HC2, I can select what to do when I press or hold any of the four buttons. Nice! But: I want to use it to control a Fibaro Dimmer. The Wallmote has swipe commands that should do this, but I can’t get it to work. Please help!

Hi I've had weird issues with my Z-Wave network for a while that seem impossible to diagnose and resolve... notably a slowdown of the network (lights may take 10 seconds to turn on when a motion sensor is activated). Support have remoted to the device and are unable to diagnose the issue. The latest issue is that Fibaro motion sensors seem to just get dropped or forgotten from the HC2. They don't get set as dead nodes... they just don't register motion, and to resolve I have to delete the device and re-register. I'm having to do 1-2 of these per week which is a nightmare when having to edit all scenes etc. Most of these are on the periphery of the network. I love my HC2, and have never understood the haters, putting them down as not understanding the complexities of the system... but these latest issues are seriously making me consider Vera! Anybody got any ideas to save me having to jump ship? Thanks!

Hi there, I'm building a Nextion touchscreen with a arduino ESP8266 chip. I already can start scene's from the display. I'm now struggeling with a way to communicate back. Is there someone who can tell me how to send value's from a variable in Fibaro HC2 to the arduino ESPchip? I created a webserver running on the arduino and can make different actions on it i.e. /ledon runs a led on script on the arduino. But this way i need to make a different script for every single action/value of a variable. undoable when I want to send temp or lux to the arduino. Is there a way, so yes how, to send the value of a global variable in fibaro HC2 to a global variable in the arduino. Cheers, Damien

Hello! I live in Brazil and I got a HC2 working in my house, I took a vacation to US few days ago and found a motion sensor for sale. Bought it, but HC2 could not find it. It seems that they have diferent frequences, 908,4mhz in the US and 921,4 mhz in Brazil. Does anyone knows if there’s a workaround on these matter? Could be changing its frequence module (not sure if its possible) or any other stuff, please let me know. Thank you

Hi guys, I recently purchased a home center 2. Very cool happy with it. Now I want to change some of the icons for devices. But when I upload an icon I am redirected to a completely white page and nothing happens anymore. I downloaded some new icons from this forum and checked them with photoshop if they are ok. 128x128pixels and png format. So should be okay then right? Does anyone know what I can do about it? I am using a Macbook Air 2013 model by the way.

Hmmm...Is there a 3rd edition of Home Center 2 release? Noticed these on Fibaro website. And the antenna seems different from the 2nd edition of Home Center 2 I have got.

I have a lua scene that I want when the HC2 starts up. But it will not run. --[[ %% properties %% events %% globals --]] local message = 'HC2 restarted' -- Rohit fibaro:call (4, "sendEmail", message, message) -- Rajan fibaro:call (304, "sendEmail", message, message) The properties are as in the image. Any idea why ? Background - I have had continuous problems for 6 months now with all versions of firmware where the HC just does not run some scenes sometimes. The debug shows that its not busy at all. So I now have a scene that reboots it every morning at 4am. It sends me an email telling me its about to reboot. I would like one above to tell me that it has rebooted.

OversætDeaktiver øjeblikkelig oversættelse The HC2 does not restart automatically after a power outage. Restart can only be activated by pressing the reset button on the back of HC2. Fibaro please fix the issues.
